Why watch the movie Chronicle?
"Although the "found footage" technique was nothing out of the ordinary (‘The Blair Witch Project’ had popularized it more than a decade before), director Josh Trank employed it for the superhero subgenre—which was just barely scraping the surface of its popularity—achieving one of his most original, immersive, and impactful entries yet. The script explores the effects power has when placed in the hands of both the marginalized and the compassionate, with great performances by then-young promises: Dane DeHaan, Michael B. Jordan, and Alex Russell."
