Perhaps Alexandre Aja hasn't repeated the brutality that characterized him in films like 'High Tension', but this movie definitely has a bit of that impact. The feature film is simple and was designed for quick consumption - and that is its point in favor, because its short plans and its accelerated rhythm make it exciting and fun, despite walking the thin line between horror and ridiculousness."
