How does it feel to leave a child that you raised as your own since it was 10 months old? - I didn't think it would be this difficult, says foster mother Ulrika, who is faced with leaving the child she cared for and loved for five years. How can you be a parent and only see your child for three hours every three weeks? Filmmakers Noomi Liljefors and Caroline Mörner Berg have spent a long time in a foster home and depict the sometimes dramatic life there. Everyone involved is in the film; the children, the biological parents, the family welfare inspector and the foster parents Ulrika and Thomas from Heby.
