Why watch the movie Sturgill Simpson Presents Sound & Fury?
"Singer-songwriter Sturgill Simpson always looks for new ways to reach his audience or, at best, expand it – and that's exactly what we have here. The anthology of animated shorts 'Sturgill Simpson Presents Sound & Fury' was made in collaboration with Takashi Okazaki ('Afro Samurai') and filmmaker Junpei Mizusaki ('Batman Ninja'), blending ideas and styles to create an animated musical album set in a post-apocalyptic world. Musically speaking, this album is more rock-oriented than Simpson's previous work, but that's nothing for fans to be scared of. Without much else to add, we can say that an anime with country music with hints of rock is not something very common, which makes this mix something unique."
