Why watch the movie Brampton's Own?
""A Love from the Past" is half sports movie, half romantic drama, but mostly the latter. Beyond presenting us with the story of a failed athlete who finds a second wind, this movie takes us on the introspective journey of its protagonist to learn to appreciate the essential things in life. The script (especially the dialogue) is somewhat uneven, but the performance of its cast (in particular Alex Russell of "Limitless Power") helps to sustain this "feel good movie"."
