Cinema went to Berlenga island for the first time! The 3rd of September of 2011, marked the 30th anniversary of the Natural Reserve of Berlengas and simultaneously the official presentation of the documentary "Berlenga - A Ilha do Farol", a self-portrait that shows the island and its people as they are today. A year after beginning recording the first images, the Lighthouse of Berlenga was converted to an improvised theatre where 350 people attended the film premiere. This short film portrays the excitement that the islanders and visitors lived that day.
