One hint, 6 chances, and a new movie to guess every day
Practiced a little all over the central coast of Portugal, the "Arte Xávega" is an ancient fishing tradition that was intensified in the summer months. Along the years it evolved into specific techniques in each beach that was performed. A long time ago it was common to see the fisherman on their boats breaking the waves and the bulls on shore pulling the nets, but now those days are only a memory lost in time. This documentary plays homage to the fisherman, men and women devoted to God and their family that very often sacrificed their lives to the fury of the ocean. There's no translation for "Arte Xávega", it's an ancient fishing tradition performed only in a few beaches in the Atlantic coast of Portugal and in Galiza, Spain. In our days, this cultural practice is almost extinct.
