A mother and child face their inner demons when a creepy children's book appears in their home.
Trailer
Why watch the movie The Babadook?
"Director and screenwriter Jennifer Kent offers a supernatural horror film that gives a refreshing twist to the old tale of the monster living under the bed. Are these malevolent entities chasing us, or do they live within us? 'The Babadook', which premiered at Sundance and was twice awarded at the Sitges Festival, asserts that demons arise from fear of loss and failure as a mother, authentic sources of true terror."
