Why watch the movie Little Miss Sumo?
"They say that art isn't enough to fix the world, but sometimes it can give it a little push. 'Little Miss Sumo' seeks to motivate real-world transformation, as it is the first documentary made about female sumo wrestlers in Japan. The film seeks to highlight both the profound imbalances within this sport and help bring attention to wider social issues through the lens of one of the oldest sports in the world while transforming an entire landscape of inequality."
