Documentary about a prison for women, the Madre Pelletier Penitentiary, in the State of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, focusing on three of its interns: Cláudia, Betânia and Daniela. Cláudia, the oldest and most respected one, tries to protect young Daniela, whose life is always in danger because she is accused of killing her own child. But Cláudia is about to be released, and Daniela will have to manage the situation by herself soon.
