Why watch the movie Torn Apart: Separated At The Border?
"The migrant crisis in Latin America has been one of the region's most serious problems for years, and unfortunately, Donald Trump's immigration policy has made the situation even more delicate. Directed by Ellen Goosenberg Kent (Oscar winner for co-directing the short documentary 'Crisis Hotline for Veterans'), this HBO short film exposes, with two cases among thousands, the cruel separation between parents and children - and how they are taken to detention camps in deplorable conditions. Difficult to watch, but essential for the defenders of the victims of the current policy at the Mexico-US border. Torn Apart: Separated At The Border"
