Why watch the movie O Brother, Where Art Thou??
"Named one of the 100 best films of the century by The New York Times. O Brother, Where Art Thou? is one of the Coen brothers' most creative and unusual comedies. Loosely inspired by Homer's The Odyssey and set in the 1930s American South, the film follows three prisoners who escape from prison and get into the most absurd scrapes in search of freedom. All this is set to a striking bluegrass and folk soundtrack. With George Clooney at the height of his comedic chops, the production blends social critique, political satire, and nonsensical humor, as only the Coens can. A comedic and musical adventure that is unique in style and tone, and impossible to forget."
