Five people in Mezzano, a small municipality in the heart of the Trentino Dolomites, tell their stories and talk about their relationship with the town. Using simple words, Giovanni summarises what he has learn from life. Ernesto, a young dairy farmer, continues with the same job done by his parents and grandfather before him. Giorgia would like to leave, as she is curious to learn about other places. Leone, a middle-aged businessman, left when he was young, but the bond with Mezzano has led him to return to the town where he spent his youth. Robert, an Australian, talks about his decision to move there, changing continent and radically altering his lifestyle.
