Why watch the movie Never Surrender: A Galaxy Quest Documentary?
""Galaxy Quest", internationally known as "Heroes Out of Orbit", is a parody of space operas and science fiction that has become a cult classic, especially revered by genre fans and its biggest exponents: "Star Trek" and "Star Wars". On the one hand, "Never Surrender: A Galaxy Quest Documentary" brings to light the troubled production of the 1999 feature film, with first-hand accounts from its protagonists, Tim Allen ("Toy Story"), Sigourney Weaver ("Alien: The Eighth Passenger") and Sam Rockwell ("Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri"), plus unseen footage from behind the scenes with the late Alan Rickman. On the other hand, this documentary produced by Fandom and Screen Junkies (the popular YouTube channel responsible for the "Honest Trailers" series) also explores the fans around the great franchises of popular culture, with interviews with important figures such as Will Wheaton ("Star Trek") and Damon Lindelof (creator of the TV series "Watchmen"), among others."
