Why watch the movie Snatchers?
"Remember the iconic line from 'Mean Girls', "Don't have sex, because you will get pregnant and die!" Well, that could very well sum up the premise of this teen horror comedy. Based on the eponymous webseries and presented at the South by Southwest festival, 'Snatchers' is the result of blending the atmosphere of comedies like 'Clueless' with the terrifying imagery worthy of David Cronenberg's 'The Fly'. The result is a movie that will make you laugh out loud, if you're into sharp humor, and that surely guarantees its status as an eventual cult classic of the late 2010s."
