The only honest cop in the city is assigned with a lazy and corrupt partner to bring down a ring of underworld crime.
"Mexican filmmaker Abe Rosenberg (director of 'Archivo 253' and screenwriter of 'Mientras el lobo no está') bets on bringing a well-known and tested formula among Hollywood film fans to our context: the "buddy comedy", in the tradition of 'Tango y Cash', 'Arma mortal' and, more recently, 'Dos tipos peligrosos'. The protagonistic duo of Alfonso Dosal and Adrián Vázquez achieve their goal, since they are very funny together. The script does not avoid some commonplaces of the subgenre, although it has a curious twist that, although it stretches plausibility to the extreme, serves to comment on our roles as citizens in a corrupt system."
