Jay and Silent Bob Reboot

Specifically in 'Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back', the director, actor and producer played with the then recent wave of comic book adaptations in Hollywood. Almost 20 years later, Jay and Bob return in a current parody that retraces the same movie's steps to make fun of the constant relaunches and reboots of those same comic books - as well as making fun of events like San Diego Comic-Con. Although the freshness of the beginning of Smith's so-called View Askewniverse is missing, the film is successful in delivering the nostalgia that former fans seek - in addition to lots of fan service."
