Three museum specialists arrive at the manor house - Tomasz, the timid Miss Wierzchon and the perpetually lethargic Bigos. They are to make a catalogue of the valuable artifacts located there and set up a museum. Miss Wierzchon and Bigos want to scare Tomasz into giving up his position as curator. Strange and incredible things happen at the manor.
