Tootsies & the Fake

"If you're a fan of Thai television or cult productions within the LGBT community, you've probably heard of the successful 'Diary of Tootsies', the comedy series where the four protagonists identify as openly queer and go through all sorts of eccentric situations. 'Tootsies & the Fake' is its first movie based on the production, with a series of unfortunate events after the characters accidentally hurt a star. This is the only plot thread, which serves as a pretext for the protagonists to show off their slapstick comedy and "in-jokes", which may not please those who are not familiar with the TV show. However, it's a good opportunity to witness the representation of queer identity - with all its diversity and range of colors - in other parts of the world."
