A corrupt Hong Kong cop designs a bomb hidden in a soda can and sells it to two Japanese traffickers; however, the cop's associate steals and hides the bomb, not wishing for it to be used for evil means. While he is pursued by the traffickers, three random people - a smooth-talking lab scientist, a wisecracking taxi driver, and an overzealous bicyclist - witnesses the incident and team up to find the bomb before the criminals do.
