When his sister is kidnapped, Chema must recruit the starstruck, once-famous Mexican superheroes and form the "League of 5", and put a stop to the plans of a mastermind with pyrotechnic control.
"From Ánima Estudios (the ones responsible for 'La leyenda de La Llorona'), 'La Liga de los 5' is a very solid Mexican animation in the technical aspect, which manages to take the concept of super-heroes and bring it to the local cultural context. Even though the humor is simplistic and there is narrative chaos in the last act, this is a fun animation. Too bad it is only available dubbed, which keeps children away."
