On a journey to find the cure for a Tatarigami's curse, Ashitaka finds himself in the middle of a war between the forest gods and Tatara, a mining colony. In this quest he also meets San, the Mononoke Hime.

And to tell this, director and screenwriter Hayao Miyazaki takes advantage of the journey of the young warrior Ashitaka. Wounded in a battle against a possessed boar god, he will need to cross the lands of his kingdom, in a frequent war, to find the cure with the god of nature. However, as a good Studio Ghibli film, he will find a series of tests and messages throughout his journey, understanding and intensifying his teachings on cooperation, empathy and friendship. It is a brilliant movie, from beginning to end, and it should move those with hearts and souls a little more sensitive."
