Believing in the adage "Success comes to those who dare to dream", a confused, young millennial sets out on a desperate journey to fulfil his fantasy of becoming a movie star until a summer romance with a clear-headed girl helps him discover the fine line between dreams and delusions.
"Netflix continues its fight to conquer the Indian streaming market, one of the most competitive in the world. 'Maska' is yet another content to win over the local market, but it has everything to work in other countries with its universal themes such as the pursuit of fame, dreams and love. Well produced, high-spirited and romantic, the feature film by director Neeraj Udhwani (who had previously only made shorts and the series 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui') does well. Of course, Indian cinema won't be attractive to all tastes, but this could be a great gateway to enter Bollywood."
