Why watch the movie After Truth: Disinformation and the Cost of Fake News?
"We live in the world of post-truth today, where there is an excess of information from all sides, which comes along with false news - the so-called fake news. This cauldron ends up alienating more than informing, in a phenomenon that is also used by political forces to assert themselves. 'After Truth: Disinformation and the Cost of Fake News' is an original HBO documentary that dives into this reality, bringing mainly the disastrous result of false news to society. The direction is by Andrew Rossi, who also signs the excellent 'Page One: Inside the New York Times'. Recommended to all communication professionals and students (mainly journalists), or for those who want to understand a little better what is happening in the world at this moment, even from an American perspective."
