After discovering a magical mask, an 11-year-old aspiring wrestler enters a competition to become the next WWE superstar.
"'The Main Event' is an action-comedy movie designed to impact the child within us, who dreamed (or still dreams) of meeting and surpassing our great sports idols - in this case, the wrestlers of World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE). In line with other movies of children with extraordinary powers, like 'Matilda' or the more recent 'Shazam!', this is an unlikely but very funny story, with a sensitive performance by Seth Carr (the little Erik Killmonger in Marvel's 'Black Panther') and the participation of several WWE stars, such as The Miz, Sheamus, Mia Yim, Otis Dozovic and Renee Young, among others."
