"Based on Lois Lowry's book, 'The Willoughbys' is an animated feature directed by Kris Pearn ('Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2'), with art direction by Kyle McQueen ('Sausage Party') and a charming character design by Craig Kellman (who created them for the 'Hotel Transylvania' film series and the animated version of 'The Addams Family'). Although aimed at a younger audience, with a moral lesson and family theme, the movie has a smart script and some moments of acidic humor that make it more than suitable for an adult audience. In other words: it can be enjoyed by adults, kids or the whole family gathered!"
