After a deadly viral outbreak, an elite squad of special force soldiers must infiltrate a quarantine zone to rescue a scientist who holds the only cure to save mankind. In a last attempt to contain the mutated virus, they launch a final strike against the infected, risking all of humanity in the process.
"With the subgenre already established, it can be said that zombie films have three branches. On one side, those stories that use zombies as a means of social and political criticism, and that go beyond mere entertainment. This is the case of 'Dawn of the Dead' and 'Night of the Living Dead'. In the middle, films that prioritize action and thriller and reach a wide audience, such as 'Zombieland' and 'World War Z'. Finally, there is the trash cinema. This is the case of 'Redcon-1', a British production directed by Chee Keong Cheung (from the terrible 'Bodyguard: A New Beginning') about a rescue group in a region affected by a zombie apocalypse. Here, nothing makes sense, nothing is well done and little really excites. However, those who want a Z production to laugh at bizarre stories and nonsensical stories will find guaranteed fun here. After all, it's a movie made for that."
