A young Brazilian boy overcomes racism to become a global soccer icon.
Why watch the movie Pelé: A Origem?
"Before Pelé there was Little Gasoline, the young boy with ball skills who played in the streets of Bauru. This independent, short film (only 43 minutes) tells the first steps of Edson Arantes do Nascimento in the world of soccer - all this mixing historical records and reenactments. It will certainly please the fans of the King of Soccer, Santos supporters and admirers of the old art of football."
