"Psychedelics have always had a bad reputation in cinema, 'Have a Good Trip: Adventures in Psychedelics' is a collection of stories from the experiences that artists like Sting, Ben Stiller, Anthony Bourdain, Sarah Silverman and others had with substances such as LSD, magic mushrooms, and peyote. The highs and lows of recreational psychedelic experiences are interspersed with animations and skits that hark back to 1950s anti-drug films, as well as the pleasant soundtrack from the American band Yo La Tengo. With testimonies from doctors, researchers and "psyonauts" like Deepack Chopra, the film doesn't bring much technical information about the effects of psychedelics, but it does tell entertaining stories just to imagine, like Carrie Fischer topless, on a beach of tourists in Morocco under the influence of LSD at the peak of her fame as Princess Leia."
