'I, Pastafari' is a documentary film about the world's fastest growing religion: The Church of The Flying Spaghetti Monster. R'Amen.

"Have you ever imagined the existence of a religion called the Flying Spaghetti Monster? Well, not only does it exist, but it is the fastest growing religion in the world. Its faithful, called Pastafaris, bet on a belief based on parodies and ironies, playing with the requirement to teach creationism in American schools. For them, the whole world was created by the flying spaghetti monster, an entity with millions of years. They also say they believe that global warming is directly connected to the decrease in the number of pirates. And heaven, in their religion, has a huge volcano of beer. And it is in this madness of good humor and weirdness that the short documentary film 'I, Pastafari' focuses. Directed by rookie Mike Arthur, the film talks about the backstage of the religion, from its creation, passing through legal recognition and going to the present days, when the Pastafaris became the target of hatred of fundamentalist Christians."
