Why watch the movie Blood & Flesh: The Reel Life & Ghastly Death of Al Adamson?
"In the American independent film scene, Al Adamson stood out as a filmmaker for his low-budget and dubious content, having worked with porn stars, Charles Manson, and other controversial characters in B-movies like 'Dracula vs. Frankenstein', 'Psycho A-Go-Go', 'Black Samurai' - among thirty other productions now considered cult. Through archival footage and interviews with dozens of his colleagues, 'Blood & Flesh: The Reel Life & Ghastly Death of Al Adamson' manages to reconstruct the fascinating life of the filmmaker and his strange career, while also providing a tour into a lost era of Hollywood where risk and rebellion meant an opportunity to do something special and different... even if it wasn't very good."
