Why watch this film?
Set 25 years after, Jack is now working as a Special Agent with a mission to take down a powerful South African crime family. The officer begrudgingly goes undercover once again, this time taking the identity of Moses.
""Bulletproof 2" might be one of the strangest movies ever made. To start, it's a sequel to "À Prova de Balas," a forgettable 1990s film starring Adam Sandler ("Uncut Gems") and Damon Wayans (from "My Wife and Kids") that mixes action and comedy. Nobody remembers this movie, nobody talks about this movie. Then, here comes this production, almost 25 years later, saying it's a continuation. However, nothing indicates that it is, in fact, a sequel. After all, in theory, Sandler was replaced by Kirk Fox ("The Messenger") and Wayans by Faizon Love ("Friday"). However, they are different characters and the originals from the 1996 movie are not even mentioned. In the direction, Don Michael Paul ("Scorpion King 5") enters. In the script, no sign of those involved in the original idea. Thus, "Bulletproof 2" is one of those productions that try to sell themselves on something, but end up following a totally different path - here, in this case, more with a satire approach than anything else. It's a strange movie and should only serve as entertainment to those curious who like to face these Z productions. After all, it's not a real sequel, it doesn't assume itself as a satire, it doesn't find its tone and keeps jokes that didn't make sense even in the 1990s. It's a bad movie that deserves to be watched for the sake of it, for the joke and for all its strangeness."
