He also appeared in OK Connery (1967) and spent many years on stage in South America. He directed three films made in South America, including Caiçara (1950).

Sydney Sweeney To Star In That Man From Rio Remake, Directed By Justin Lin

Sydney Sweeney has lined up her next film, a remake of the James Bond spoof That Man From Rio. This comes as rumors are swirling that the actor is under consideration to play the Bond Girl in the next James Bond film. Amazon's Jeff Bezos is reportedly trying to tip the scales in her favor. Review: Mario Bava’s ‘Danger: Diabolik’ on Kl Studio Classics 4K Uhd Blu-ray

Aesthetically speaking, Mario Bava’s Danger: Diabolik may be the greatest film to spawn from comic book source material. Given the Italian filmmaker’s work as cinematographer, this is hardly surprising. Bava’s choice of lenses (lots of fisheye), sense of composition, and eye for color are unrivaled. With Danger: Diabolik, Bava adapts his technique at times to approximate the arrangement of panels within a comic book page, breaking up the frame into compartmentalized units by situating objects like rearview mirrors, wrought bedframes, and elaborate shelving in the foreground of the shot. The plot here is almost secondary to its set pieces. Diabolik (John Phillip Law) and his partner, Eva Kant (Marisa Mell), steal from the rich to give to themselves. Kino Lorber has announced two genre films coming to 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray this summer: Silent Scream on July 8 and Danger: Diabolik on July 22. Warner Bros. announces the 6-film 4K Blu-ray collection of the Sean Connery James Bond films

Late last year, it was announced that a number of Warner Bros. classics would be making their way onto 4K Blu-ray remaster releases. The titles for this year’s releases included Lethal Weapon, Amadeus, Constantine and David Fincher’s Seven. It would also be announced that a collection of the Sean Connery James Bond films was to be sold in a new set. Blu-ray.com has reported that Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will be making the classic Ian Fleming spy movies available to retailers on June 3. The description reads, “Complete your James Bond Collection with this 007: Sean Connery Complete 6-film 4K Collection.
