Nicolas Cage Says ‘I’m a Little Bit Homeless’ and ‘Living in Hotels’ After Sinkhole at His House

Nicolas Cage has spoken out after a large sinkhole near his California home forced him to evacuate in September. A sinkhole that measured 25 feet deep and 30 by 60 feet in diameter opened up near the driveway of Cage’s Malibu home on Sept. 8. The large crater caused 31 nearby homes to be evacuated, which including the mansion belonging to Cage and his family. He spoke at a panel at the Los Angeles Comic Con on Halloween and gave attendees an update on his housing situation. “I’m currently a little bit homeless,” he said. “Something happened to my house in Malibu, so I’m just sort of living in hotels.” Officials haven’t determined how the sinkhole was formed, but it was likely caused by the unusually strong Hurricane Marie that battered California in early September. The tropical storm brought large waves and flooding to some oceanfront homes in Southern California. Nevertheless,

Shrek 5 Might Be the Disney Fairy Tale It Swore to Destroy

Though DreamWorks treated it like a green-skinned black sheep throughout its decade-long development — so much so that animators considered working on it a punishment — the Shrek franchise quickly became beloved by families everywhere when the first movie debuted in 2001. While Disney filled people’s heads with fairy-tale definitions of love and hope in movies like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, Shrek was easily seen as the edgier adult fairy-tale cousin. A totally different vibe, which quickly made Shrek a pop culture icon that felt

Los dos actores también figuran como productores ejecutivos, mientras que Issa López volverá a estar al frente de la temporada junto a Daniel Zelman, responsable del guion y de la producción ejecutiva. ¿Cuándo se estrenará True Detective 5? True Detective Season 5 Gives Nicolas Cage the One-Season Deal He Called Perfect

Nicolas Cage spent most of his career refusing television, and he has been unusually frank about why. He did not want to make anything “too homogenized,” he said, anything “like everybody else.” Now he leads HBO’s True Detective opposite Antonio Banderas, and the fit has less to do with a comeback than with the shape of the show. The anthology offers what Cage has been describing out loud for a while: room to build a character, and a door that closes on schedule. Some of the chatter calls this a return to the small screen. Cage has barely been here. His first starring series, Prime Video’s Spider-Noir, was cancelled after a single season,

Forget Spider-Man, Tom Holland's Video Game Movie Is Officially Dominating Streaming

If you've taken even the slightest interest in cinema this past summer, you might've heard of a small indie superhero project called Spider-Man: Brand New Day. Brand New Day's triumph was written in the stars from the very beginning of its box office run. By earning the biggest opening weekend
