Mark Wahlberg’s ‘Reacher’ Replacement Is Officially a Must-Watch on Paramount+

Mark Wahlberg is having a busy year with multiple new releases, but the persistence of one of his classics proves some people enjoy his older movies more than his newer films. Earlier this year, Wahlberg teamed up with Paul Walter-Hauser (The Fantastic Four: First Steps) for Balls Up, the action comedy that launched on Prime Video back in April. The film spent weeks at the top of streaming charts before giving up its spot in the top 10 despite a mostly mediocre reception from critics and audiences. Wahlberg returned to the big screen last month to star opposite Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (Wonder Man) in By Any Means, the new crime thriller

But that’s understandable considering he played 75 concerts in the U.S. and Canada last year, and booked another 95 this year. “I’m in Saskatoon,” he tells Rolling Stone via Zoom from the back of his tour bus. “We’re halfway between wherever I was last night and wherever I’m going to be tomorrow.” It’s a rare off day, so he headed to the movies to see Coyote vs. Acme, and otherwise rested. The 66-year-old

So when Taylor Sheridan names his favorite western, it means something. For Sheridan, that western is Lonesome Dove, a 1985 Pulitzer Prize-winning book by Larry McMurtry that was turned into a universally beloved 1989 miniseries. Sheridan wrote the foreword to Simon & Schuster's 40th anniversary edition of the novel, where he described reading the novel and watching the miniseries as "easily the most formative event in my life.

Molly Ringwald And Martin Short Starred In A Forgotten '80s Anthology Series

Molly Ringwald, Martin Short, and Rob Reiner were on a TV show together? It might sound like a tall tale, but it's true: The three stars appeared in an episode of "Tall Tales & Legends," a mostly forgotten anthology series about American folklore. The late Shelley Duvall created the great Showtime series, which ran for nine episodes in 1985 and 1986. Though best remembered as an actor who starred in films like "The Shining" and "Popeye," Duvall was a prolific producer and host of children's television in the '80s, including "Tall Tales & Legends." Nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Children's Program,
