Sean Connery James Bond Movies Ranked: From Worst to Best

Chris Recently, I’ve been doing a series of James Bond ranking articles, breaking the series down by each actor. For some reason, I’ve been going backwards, starting with Daniel Craig, onto Pierce Brosnan and then Roger Moore. Yeah, I missed Timothy Dalton, but it’s hard to do a proper ranking when you’ve only done two movies, so I might combine him and George Lazenby into one. Of course, that brings me to the man himself, Sean Connery. As I like to say, all the other actors played James Bond, but Sean Connery Was James Bond. Not only was he iconic in his classic tux, but he

Halloween: Ranking All 13 Movies In The Classic Slasher Franchise From Carpenter's Original To Halloween Ends

This feature was originally posted on FearHQ.com - happy Halloween! Today is All Hallows' Eve, and to mark the occasion, we're taking a look back at one of the most popular and iconic horror franchises of all time. Though we're sure Michael Myers will return at some point (you can't keep a good Boogeyman down for long), 2022's Halloween Ends was marketed as the conclusion of the long-running film series. So, to celebrate the spooky season, we're ranking all 13 entries from worst to best. Though Halloween 2018 (wisely?) ignored all but Carpenter's classic, there actually were a few bright spots among the various sequels, reboots and reimaginings over the years

James Bond's Most Divisive Movie Has Aged Better Than Fans Remember

Ask a group of people who their favorite James Bond actor is, and you will likely get a different answer. Some like Sean Connery's callous professionalism, others the louche, more comic Roger Moore era, and some prefer Daniel Craig's more grounded realism. While the debate over the best Bond is never-ending, audiences typically agree on the character's worst depiction. Poor George Lazenby. Following on from one of the most iconic portrayals of a film character was never going to be easy, but the start of On Her Majesty's Secret Service really makes a rod for its own back. On Her Majesty's Secret Service kicks off with a fourth-wall-breaking nod to the camera,

Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers – How the Sequel Saved the Franchise

Mike Halloween 4 could have been a very different movie. At one point, Michael Myers was envisioned as a sometimes 12-foot-tall, regenerative monster hunting his victims at a drive-in. And after the movie we actually got, there was an idea that Michael’s own niece could take over the mantle of mayhem. So how did Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers become the movie we know today? Why bring the Boogeyman back after seemingly killing him off seven years earlier? And how did a sequel with that mask, those shoulder pads, and plenty of other shortcomings somehow become arguably the best Halloween follow-up of them all? Thirty-eight years later,

Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers – Theatrical Cut vs. Producer’s Cut

Apart from maybe Halloween Ends, Halloween 5 is the absolute low point of the series. It’s dumb, ruins the character of Michael Myers, and leaves a ridiculous open ending that furthers the Thorn cult idea that, let’s face it, nobody wanted. The movie was received so poorly and made so little money that producer Moustapha Akkad shelved the series for a bit. How do you follow that anyway? Well, you allow a superfan with a Halloween bible to run wild with the character and franchise, then kind of ignore him anyway. That was the narrative for quite some time, until we got a Producer’s Cut unleashed by Scream Factory.
