Mckenna Grace On Declining Nude Scenes: “I Respect Anybody Who Can, But It’s Terrifying To Me”

Mckenna Grace has opened up about refusing to do nude scenes in film, and she has a powerful reason why. In a new interview, the star of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping shared why she won’t be doing any nudity in her acting roles. “At this point, I definitely don’t do nudity or very hypersexual things,” the actress told Cosmopolitan. “I respect anybody who can, but it’s terrifying to me. I don’t know if that’ll ever change.” She continued, “It’s not like I only do wholesome things — my character literally gets gutted by Ghostface in Scream — but my dream is to try and be a Disney princess someday.” Grace stars in the new Hunger Games prequel as Maysilee Donner. The film is set in the world of Panem 24 years before the events of The Hunger Games and follows a 16-year-old Haymitch Abernathy,

‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’ Will Be in 3D in Theaters — and on Meta’s New VR Glasses

Lionsgate’s “Hunger Games” prequel “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” will be available in 3D when it opens in theaters on November 20. That on its own isn’t strictly news, but the 3D conversion on the film is coming from a new and unlikely place: Facebook parent company Meta. Meta is partnering with Lionsgate to convert “Sunrise on the Reaping” to 3D, with director Francis Lawrence working to adapt the film for 3D viewing. Meta worked with VFX giant Dneg and their internal 3D conversion branch Stereo. This is the first time Meta has partnered with a Hollywood film studio on such an undertaking, and it also won’t be the last Lionsgate movie that will get the 3D treatment down the road (other titles will be announced at a later date). In addition to “Sunrise on the Reaping” being in 3D in theaters, the movie will eventually

‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’ to Screen in 3D Through Lionsgate, Meta Partnership

Lionsgate is teaming up with Meta to bring “The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping” to audiences in 3D. The collaboration marks the first time that the Mark Zuckerberg-led tech giant has partnered with a Hollywood studio to convert a feature film into 3D to support its theatrical release. The 3D conversion was completed in collaboration with the film’s director Francis Lawrence and Dneg, the Academy Award-winning visual effects and animation studio whose Stereo team has been a leader in 3D conversion for more than 15 years. Following its theatrical release, the film will also be available in 3D on Meta VR Glasses when they launch in the spring.

Page Six called her wardrobe a “scavenger hunt” of ‘Hunger Games’ nods, and the list has kept growing. Grace has paid homage to heroes, tributes, and even the arena itself as the film’s release date approaches. The latest reference came at the film’s Berlin premiere.
