Marshals Season 2 Teases Yellowstone Fans With A Major Character Name-Drop

"Marshals" continues to tease a crossover with "Dutton Ranch," with Luke Grimes' Kayce Dutton name-dropping his sister in the latest episode. By this point, however, fans are surely tired of the references and eager to see the "Yellowstone" cast reunited. With its Season 1 finale, "Dutton Ranch" gave itself the perfect excuse for a "Marshals" crossover. Meanwhile, "Marshals" did the same, ending its debut season by having Brecken Merrill's Tate Dutton kidnapped and taken to Texas, where, it just so happens, Kelly Reilly's Beth Dutton and Cole Hauser's Rip Wheeler now live. Meanwhile, Hauser and Reilly spoke positively about a "Dutton Ranch"/"Marshals" crossover, suggesting that's exactly what

How Taylor Sheridan's Yellowstone Script Convinced Kevin Costner To Star In The Show

You don't have to be a fan of Westerns to know how popular "Yellowstone" is. The Montana-set family drama is one of the most iconic series from Taylor Sheridan, whose excellent writing made Kevin Costner take on the leading role of the show. When speaking to Variety, Costner, who portrays patriarch rancher John Dutton, said he was drawn to the neo-Western series by the dialogue and aesthetic described in the script. "It was raw. It was dysfunctional. And it was set against the backdrop of mountains and rivers and valleys and people on horseback, which is very appealing." While Costner

And when she was not in the headlines for her music, she was there for something she said, wore, or did. By 1991, she was not just a successful singer. She was a cultural phenomenon, right up there with Michael Jackson as one of the biggest pop stars alive. Then she did something that got people talking even louder. She let cameras into her world. Madonna: Truth or Dare came out in May 1991 and pulled audiences behind the scenes of her spectacular Blond Ambition World Tour.

Kevin Costner Battled Bill Paxton In This Acclaimed Civil War-Era Western Series

In May 2012, The History Channel did something different. Instead of airing documentaries, the cable network premiered a limited drama series starring two A-list movie stars in Kevin Costner and Bill Paxton. Though somewhat forgotten over a decade later, the "Hatfields & McCoys" miniseries was a gigantic ratings and awards sensation. Airing as a trio of two-hour episodes, the Western miniseries dramatized the infamous historical feud between the titular families. For three decades in the late 1800s, the Hatfields of West Virginia fought with their Kentucky rivals the McCoys over grudges, land disputes, and an escalating series of revenge killings that

Taylor Sheridan’s 9-Part ‘Yellowstone’ Sequel Officially Scores New Home Release

While there were many skeptics that didn't believe the Yellowstoneuniverse could continue without Kevin Costner, the success of Dutton Ranch certainly solidified its future. There's no question that Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly can carry this series. It doesn't hurt to have the help of seasoned vets like Ed Harris and Annette Bening as supporting cast, either. Dutton Ranch follows what's left of the Dutton family as they move to Texas to find new beginnings. As fate would have it, they must continue to fight for survival. While we await Dutton Ranch Season Two, which begins filming in early 2027, we can celebrate the series' First Season that will soon be released on Blu-ray.
