Exclusive: Devin McRae is putting up his own legal shingle in Hollywood: After 16 years at Early Sullivan Wright Gizer & McRae, the name partner has formed McRae Llp.
Picking up on its namesake’s history with the likes of The Walking Dead, Legendary Pictures and the family of baseball legend Roberto Clemente, Timeless, the late Shannen Doherty, Verve and more, McRae Llp will serve as a litigation boutique centering on the entertainment industry, intellectual property and insurance coverage disputes.
“Entertainment disputes reward lawyers who understand the business and the players as well as the law,” McRae, whose clients include Nate Bargatze, Lakeith Stanfield and numerous former residents of the Palisades who lost their homes in the 2025 fires, tells Deadline. “McRae Llp gives, among others, writers, actors, comedians, directors, producers and the companies behind them, a firm built for that work and nothing else.”
