‘Doom Scroll’ Turns Passover Into a Bloody Home-Invasion Nightmare
Production company K180 Studios has wrapped its sophomore feature, a Passover home-invasion horror-comedy titled Doom Scroll, reports Deadline.
Shot in the Canary Islands, Doom Scroll watches as a family’s Passover Seder is ambushed by intruders hungry for revenge, viral fame and power. A college student grappling with his identity must then protect his family and reckon with an ancient myth that becomes terrifyingly real.
From director Natalie Bailey, the cast includes Jason Alexander, Josh Radnor, David Mazouz (Gotham), Inbar Lavi (Imposters), Betsy Brandt (Breaking Bad), and Erin Darke (Good Girls Revolt).
Founded in 2021 by siblings Becky Korman, Lily Korman and Shai Korman, K180 came to Doom Scroll on the heels of The Floaters, a Jewish summer-camp ensemble comedy starring Jackie Tohn, Sarah Podemski, Aya Cash, Seth Green and Steve Guttenberg, which opened in theaters through distributor Brainstorm Media this summer.
