"Jailbreak Pact" is based on real events and tells the story of the largest prison break in Chile during the Augusto Pinochet regime in the 1990s. Fans of "Escape from Alcatraz," "One Step Beyond Freedom," "Breaking Out of Hell" and other dramas with similar themes will surely enjoy this production. The movie shows how a group of political prisoners planned their escape from a maximum security prison at the height of the dictatorship in the country. For 18 months, they dug a tunnel in search of freedom. The production is full of tension and suspense, and as the plot progresses it is impossible not to get nervous - even if you already know what is going to happen, if you are aware of the real events of the story. "Jailbreak Pact" carries a message of hope and freedom that is quite symbolic in the midst of a fascist regime.
