Why watch this film?

If love has something, it's the ability to change and transform what seems impossible. This is the premise of 'Modern Loves', from director Matías Meyer ('I') who has been characterized by making an intimate exploration of his characters since his first movie, 'The Last Cristeros', where he managed to capture attention by constructing a film in the silences and the passing of time that transpires in the faces of his characters. His previous films were for a more indie audience, more festival-oriented, made with non-professional actors and now he is betting on reaching a wider audience with a great cast: Ilse Salas ('The Good Girls'), Leonardo Ortizgris ('Museum'), Andrés Almeida ('Time Sharing'), Raúl Briones ('Asphyxia'), Mónica del Carmen ('Leap Year'), Concepción Márquez ('Raise Pigs') and Ludwika Paleta ('I Don't Know if I Should Cut my Veins or Leave them Long').
