Why watch this film?
Interesting documentary about the psychoanalytic analysis of the dreams of young people in a correctional institution for minors in Chile. They share the most diverse thoughts they have while sleeping and it is up to the viewer to interpret what they will present throughout the movie. The production humanizes these convicted criminals, who are usually judged without precedent and are oblivious to society. The production also shows their daily life, what they do during the day and what the routine of the institution is like. In 'Los sueños del castillo', the so-called castle is the prison where the young people have the most diverse dreams and nightmares with what they have already gone through and what still terrifies them today. The atmosphere of the film is quite sinister, giving an idea of something mysterious and flirting with horror films, even though it is a documentary.

Through a select group of girls participating in a federal government simulation in Missouri, this film reveals, firstly, how American politics operates. But secondly, and more importantly, it explores how an environment supposedly empowering girls can both propel and limit them at the same time, raising questions about what we understand about power and the ways to exercise it.

Documentaries about the climate crisis are never too many, but sometimes it can be challenging to find one that presents its arguments in a different and memorable way. Earth Protectors is a worthy attempt. Directed by French artist and environmental activist Anne de Carbuccia, it artistically documents her 10-year journey around the world exploring the impact of climate change in various countries, as well as the solutions undertaken to empower global citizens and address the crisis. At times, de Carbuccia and her works take more prominence than necessary, but she manages to present vital information.
