Why watch this film?

Like it or not, Japanese animations always bring interesting looks and reflections on the human condition and the possibilities of what we may become in the future -- movies like 'Ghost in the Shell' and 'Akira' are two good examples of this. The anime 'Human Lost' follows the same path, though without the same firmness as those other two mentioned features. Here, a future Tokyo lives without any disease after science reaches an extremely high level. From there, we plunge headlong into an interesting story about the social differences that arise from this. Although it has a somewhat outdated Malthusian perspective, the production manages to excite and bring a glimpse of what may (or may not) be our future, regardless of fantasy.
