Why watch this film?
If there is one movie that stands out to an entire generation about hurricanes and tornadoes, it's 'Twister', one of those productions about natural disasters that marked the 1980s and 1990s. In the story, we follow university professor Jo Harding and a team of students with few resources who prepare the prototype of an innovative device that collects tornado data, created by her ex-husband Bill. From then on, we dive headfirst into this "tornado hunt", with cutting-edge special effects for the time and exciting - and scary - scenes. Special mention to the performance of the duo of protagonists, Bill Paxton and Helen Hunt, accurate in their roles of a former couple passionate about their work.
