Why watch this film?

Lin-Manuel Miranda can already be considered one of the best composers in audiovisual in recent years. After 'Moana', 'Hamilton', 'In a New York Neighborhood' and the upcoming 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Enchantment', the artist shows how talented he is also in 'Vivo'. As cute as the animation may be, Miranda's songs are the best part of the story. Bringing his brand of authenticity, which are the rap lyrics, he gives a great modernization to fairy tales, avoiding the basics. This movie is a grace, brings the friendly sloth Vivo (original voice of Lin-Manuel Miranda), a small mammal that is not seen much around in the cinema and shows that it is possible to explore the fauna of Central America and South America in the drawings. Being set in Cuba and the United States, another well-known voice is that of composer Juan de Marcos González from the Buena Vista Social Club, he is the owner of Vivo, the composer Andrés. 'Vivo's Journey' has some development problems, the story gets tangled up and who is older - already used to the tight Disney / Pixar narratives - can get a little frustrated with this. Despite this, it manages to be a movie that is saved by the powerful soundtrack and cuteness of the characters.
