Tanguito

A rising Argentine rock star faces the challenges of a military regime.

Why watch this film?

Argentina has historically been one of the strongest scenes in Latin American rock, and José Alberto Iglesias Correa, better known as "Tanguito," was both one of the great drivers of Spanish rock and one of its least known figures outside of the borders of the Latin American country. 'Tango Feroz' is a biographical drama inspired by his life, although it has been notably questioned for the authenticity of the events it represents. A product of its time, it is a decent production that is worth it for capturing the spirit of rebellion of the 60s and 70s, and serves as a starting point for those who want to know more about "Tanguito" or about that period of Argentine history.
