In 'Deal with the Devil', we get to know in depth the story of Christy Martin, a great icon in the history of boxing, one of the first women to gain great prominence in the rings and be recognized worldwide. Unfortunately, as if the professional world challenges weren't enough, such as little credibility and small opening for women in sports, Christy had to face much worse things. Her husband, who was also her coach, constantly abused her physically and psychologically, even trying to kill her. A story of strength and overcoming, struggle and resistance. Christy is an example, not for her tragic story, but for all she achieved, in the face of all adversities.
