Justin Timberlake delivers a solid performance as Salas, a man who becomes determined to fight against the system and bring justice to those who have been oppressed. Plot summary
To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. When Will Salas is falsely accused of murder, he must figure out a way, with the help of a beautiful hostage to bring down a system where time is money. He is forced to go on the run from a corrupt police force known as 'time keepers'.

This movie is a mix of science fiction and suspense, creating a metaphor to criticize the lack of tolerance, ignorance, and animosity in today's world. The protagonist is a detective played by Clive Owen (from 'Mandando Bala' and 'Closer: Perto Demais' with lots of experience in tough characters, albeit on "autopilot" in this movie), who begins to investigate a series of unsolved crimes--which leads him to a girl, played by Amanda Seyfried ('Les Misérables'), who can literally hack Owen's character. The result is an action popcorn-style movie with the signature of Andrew Niccol (also responsible for 'Lord of War' and screenwriter of 'The Truman Show').
Lord of War
One of Nicolas Cage's most consistent works is in 'Lord of War', where he plays a global arms dealer. Directed by the unstable Andrew Niccol (‘Gattaca’, ‘Anon’), the feature film dives into the underworld of drug trafficking to uncover dark alliances, criminal permissions and blatant bribes. There is also an interesting game of cat and mouse with a policeman, very well played by Ethan Hawke, which gives an extra vigor to Niccol's powerful plot. Oh, and it's worth saying: the opening scene, which follows the production of a bullet, is the peak of the director's career.

Rebel Moon - Part Two: The Scargiver
It was said about the first installment, and it can be said about Netflix's Rebel Moon (Part Two): it is a movie that only Zack Snyder fans will enjoy. The film continues to be a copy of the classic 'Seven Samurai', but in space: our heroes, led by Kora (Sofia Boutella), return to their small agricultural moon to prepare the defense against the invaders from the Empire. The story unfolds in a predictable manner (even more so if you've seen Kurosawa's classic), with Snyder's usual stylistic vices: overuse of slow motion and gratuitous Christian symbolism. If you liked the previous one (or the director's other movies), you will undoubtedly enjoy it. Otherwise, it might be better to skip it.
