Why watch this film?
For those who like teenage romantic comedies and a good cinematic fluff, 'No, porque me Enamoro' is a great choice. The movie is packed with an endless range of clichés, and pure juice of teenage movie in the best style of a mix of 'Rebelde' with Disney Channel. It goes without saying that one should not expect a masterpiece of quality or a sophisticated narrative, obviously that is not what this movie sets out to deliver, but for fans of a comfortable movie with touches of cuteness and that atmosphere of teenage crisis, this is the choice.

Based on the iconic comic book character created by Ricardo Cucamonga, 'Cindy la regia' is a comedy faithful to the original material - that is, it pokes fun at Mexican social stereotypes, particularly the preconceived differences between regios (natives of Monterrey) and chilangos (those from Mexico City). Even though these cultural issues may pass us Brazilians by, the feature is entertaining in the Mexican style, that is, with its exaggerations and all that comes with the package (for better or for worse).
Hasta que la boda nos separe
The process of preparing for a wedding is long and arduous, despite all the joy of the celebration. There are many complications arising from the decision on who will be the organizer, what will be the band, finding the ideal videographer, buying the dress... and, on top of that, pleasing everyone! Although it is based on the Russian movie 'Gorko!', 'Hasta que la boda nos separe' is perfectly adapted to the Mexican context by screenwriter and director Santiago Limón, with hilarious consequences for each situation faced. Much of the credit for this good result is due to the charismatic main couple, Diana Bovio and Gustavo Egelhaaf. In addition to the jokes and appearances of celebrities such as Roberto Palazuelos and Adal Ramones, this comedy stands out among others of contemporary Mexican cinema for using the "mockumentary" resource (like 'Borat' and '[REC]' or series like 'The Office' and 'Modern Family), cleverly disguising it under the pretext that the brother-in-law is making the wedding video. To laugh, have fun and rethink if it's worth having a huge wedding party.
La Usurpadora: The Musical
Cinematic adaptation of the successful 90s telenovela of the same name. La Usurpadora tells the same story: a kind and young woman from Las Vegas meets her identical twin, a cold and egocentric woman, who offers her money to go to Mexico and pass as her with her family. Although it lacks complexity in terms of visuals and linguistics, you will enjoy it musically if you like music from Selena, Celia Cruz or Paulina Rubio.

A Brighter Tomorrow
Italian filmmaker Nanni Moretti (winner of the Palme d'Or in 2001 for The Son's Room) returns with what has been called his 8½, for obvious reasons. A Brighter Tomorrow is the story of a filmmaker struggling to shoot a movie about the Hungarian Revolution, while trying to save his marriage to his producer wife. The film satirizes the current state of cinema, and perhaps indulges a bit too much in its nostalgia. It is far from the best that veteran Moretti has to offer, but if you've enjoyed his previous films, you will undoubtedly enjoy this one.

Club Zero
Club Zero is a film with a risky proposition: to understand how young people, especially those of Generation Z, dive headfirst into new trends to feel like they belong to something. But at what cost? That's what this complicated film by Jessica Hausner (Little Joe) seeks to understand. Complicated, not because it has any complexity, but because it tackles a thorny issue (this particular behavior) and further complicates it by addressing eating disorders, with young people stopping eating for the sake of a better world. With not much material to discuss, the film ends up going in circles and dangerously falling into emptiness. However, Hausner still manages to find some space to reflect on where the world is heading and, above all, where this dangerous herd behavior is taking us — something that, ultimately, the film itself ends up embracing by adhering to trends reminiscent of Wes Anderson's style and Greek cinema aesthetics.

The film tells the story of Luiz Antônio, a clumsy radio presenter who, unexpectedly, finds himself in charge of a bankrupt and falling apart radio station. Relying only on his passion for rock’n’roll and a crazy team, he created one of the most emblematic radio stations in the history of Brazilian rock, Fluminense FM. Between guitar solos and signal interference, we follow the adventures and misadventures of Luiz who, on top of that, falls in love with a married announcer.
